I’m Bryony, a confessional multi-media artist working across sculpture, photomontage, illustration and textiles. My work explores themes of identity, transformation, and the human condition, drawing inspiration from surrealism, the grotesque, gothic aesthetics, and horror.

At the heart of my practice is an exploration of the duality of self and other, as well as the interplay between reality and fantasy. By combining these elements, I aim to create new narratives that blur the boundaries between the internal and external, the real and the imagined. This fusion allows me to reflect on how we perceive and construct our worlds.

Blending autobiographical and fantastical elements, my work seeks to uncover truths and create a cathartic experience for both myself and the viewer. I’m fascinated by art’s relationship to healing and how exploring themes of love, loss, and abjection can reveal suppressed emotions while confronting the beauty and ugliness of the world.

Through my art, I aim to craft pieces that are haunting yet intimate, inviting others into a space where vulnerability and the uncanny coexist. Using the power of creativity to provoke thought and inspire transformation.
